Today I was a true, patriotic American.
Today I came from Real America.
It didn't have to do with paying higher taxes, or waging war, or spreading the wealth.
Today I was Joe the American.
I participated in my government, in my democracy.
Proudly.
I voted.

I had to think of your entry about the starbucks video when I went to Starbucks yesterday... I hope, you got your coffee as well today for your vote.. ;-)
And I hope, you didn't have problems with your ballot. I heard that many people had trouble with the computers for their ballots. I don't know how it worked, I usually put a cross on a paper sheet-quite easy. ;-)
Well, I keep my fingers crossed and I'm really excited about the election results and I guess, you are, too?!
